Kelsey M. Kline
Kelsey is a Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) SNAP-Ed Extension Agent based in Shenandoah County, and also serves the counties of Frederick/Winchester, Clarke, Warren, Page, Culpeper, Rappahannock, Madison, Orange, and Fauquier.
Her role includes building partnerships to reach SNAP-eligible youth in early childcare centers, schools, and other community-based organizations. She provides trainings and resources to teachers, staff, and community volunteers to deliver evidence-based nutrition education and physical activity opportunities for youth ages 3 to 18.
Kelsey is involved in policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change initiatives throughout the communities she serves. This includes serving on community coalitions, school wellness initiatives, and partnering with food pantries, retail stores, and farmers markets to further healthy food access and food security.
