Carol Nansel
Extension Agent, 4-H Youth Development
Carol came to Shenandoah County in 1984 with extensive experience as a 4-H member, 4-H All Star, IFYE and a 4-H volunteer. Today, Carol manages a large 4-H program that is grounded in the fundamentals of a strong volunteer base, strong community clubs, active 4-H All Star chapter, day and resident camps, local competitions, judging teams, 4-H project work, cloverbud and teen programs, interstate and international exchanges, an afterschool 4-H program, achievement night recognition and a large 4-H/FFA livestock program. Her signature work has been with international programs, including the recent addition of a program developed with partners in the Dominican Republic.
